he got used with getting the ladies' attention. But the effect he had on women wasn't only because of his name - even if "Balzar" is not a pretty common one. He also had a distinct

lack of body parts, including the whole of his left leg and the side of his jaw. Balzar had learnt to hop around, but the ladies seemed more interested in the complete package.

Poor Balzar was destined to be alone in his meaningless half-bodied existence as long as those women continued to judge him by their harsh and shallow criterion.
