It was a mid-summer night's dream. The flowers wore a burnt rim around their lush, vibrant petals, and foam from the nearby chemical plant washed against the river side.

Her phone rang with the "Radioactive" ringtone. "Hello?" Nothing... she looked around and spotted something in the river. What was it? She headed back to her house.

Her paranoid mind started to take over, and she was frightened by every shadow in her home. That's when there was a knock at her door.

There was a man waiting for her. He was an old friend, and she was glad to see him. "The shadows will go away" she thought. "Come in old friend." She beckoned.

The flimsy basement door wouldnt hold for long, I only had 15 minutes tops. Until then I needed another plan involing,

duct tape, a lime a baguette, canned coal, and a Huygens eyepiece. Thinking up this plan had eaten 12 of the 15 minutes I still had left. The basement doors vibrated as lightening

shoved the door open and stepped through the doorway. Time was up. I shrugged and sat down to contemplate existence. An auto mechanic strolled aimlessly by. "Time's up," he said.

I had seen the world through human eyes for a while and I was grateful, so I didn't argue. With a breath I exited my host, and with the starting of its engine I reentered my body.
