All the things I say, and all the things

  • All the things I say, and all the things I do, make me think life is easier when you're dead. So should I fix this? Or put a gun to my head?

  • This was the worst production of Hamlet that Robert had seen in some time - nude actors, a minimalist stage with only a folding chair & a hamster in a hamster ball rolling around,

    6
  • lighting that consisted of candles and a key ring LED torch. Robert decided to leave during intermission. He wrote in his diary that the production would give him nightmares for

Hi fwhit3. Welcome to Foldingstory I'll just put my two cents out here. Give it a try and write what you enjoy reading. The nice thing about this site is there are lots of examples of how you can do things which you can read - everyone develops their own style gradually by plugging away at it. For me, it helps to read the last fold with an open mind and let it stoke the creative juices. Words naturally generate associates for you which might be surprising to others. Go with that. Give your subconcious and imagination room to play. After that you just need to shape the kernel of an idea into an understandable text - or not. Language is an infinite playground. Enjoy it!

Here, Here SlimWhitman. fwhit3, just let your inner sprite out. Having fun while writing is more important than impressing anyone. Laughter smiling are priceless gifts. If what you read and what you wrote made you smile or laugh you're right on target.

At the risk of overstepping the point, just follow where the words lead.

  8. LordVacuity Nov 01 2016 @ 19:01

Unless they lead into the Dark. Then you might consider a flashlight and a rain coat; those Dark places are usually dank and earthy. Sometimes fiery. But not all the time.

  9. LordVacuity Nov 01 2016 @ 19:05

BTW, when I added my fold, I had in mind the Hamlet from The Magic Christian in which Hamlet recites his Soliloquy as he strips on a stage in front of an audience.

I know you can't tell but believe me it is connected somewhere in my Mind; back there behind the red barn.

  11. LordVacuity Nov 01 2016 @ 19:09

Yeah, the red barn in the back of your mind.

  12. LordVacuity Nov 01 2016 @ 19:11

The connection must have crossed over and it is now your concern. Treat it well and it will do you well. Abuse it and...

  13. LordVacuity Nov 01 2016 @ 19:14

Damn, I wish now that I had brought a flashlight and a rain coat. And it would have been nice if they had mentioned it needed to be fur lined. Because it might be fiery in here by we're still in the Arctic.

  14. LordVacuity Nov 01 2016 @ 19:15

BTW, it is fiery because that is your red barn that is on fire.

  15. Rebbie Nov 01 2016 @ 19:15

    Tangent! lol

  16. LordVacuity Nov 01 2016 @ 19:17

You did not even know that your red barn had moved to the Arctic.

  17. LordVacuity Nov 01 2016 @ 19:21

I think this is the part where Lucy Van Pelt comes screaming out of a danky dark tunnel with several clans of the Hill Folk on her ass for another affront to their dignity and saleable image.

  18. LordVacuity Nov 01 2016 @ 19:24

Nope, I was wrong. It is Charlie Brown and Peppermint Patty escaping the volcano on a conveniently placed time machine, supposedly left by Custer.

  19. LordVacuity Nov 01 2016 @ 19:25

    That General Custer gets around.

  20. Rebbie Nov 01 2016 @ 19:25

Futique have you had a little caffeine today???

  21. LordVacuity Nov 01 2016 @ 19:27

Three years in a lifetime, What could they mean?

  22. LordVacuity Nov 01 2016 @ 19:28

No, three slides behind the moments; that fast it can all change.

  23. LordVacuity Nov 01 2016 @ 19:31

And if you are lucky, you just might slide in that slide with General George Armstrong Custer, late of Little Big Horn. (He assures us that the horn was neither little nor big.)

  24. LordVacuity Nov 01 2016 @ 19:33

No; just my usual for November 1st of every year.

  25. LordVacuity Nov 01 2016 @ 19:34

Custer has golden curls, you might remember.

  26. LordVacuity Nov 01 2016 @ 19:36

I didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition but there it was all over the castle.

  27. LordVacuity Nov 01 2016 @ 19:38

You could have slid right into that one. Custer could have helped you. Most likely. We can never know who's side he will end up on.
