Stephen looked at his mother as she lay on her deathbed. Her final words escaped her mouth. "Stephen...what is love?"

Stephen sunk down in the chair beside her bed, tears streaming down his cheeks. "Mom," he sobbed. "Mom, please come back...I think I finally have the answer." And he did.

He stared at his mother with wet eyes. "I know you probably can't hear me, but I finally found it. I have the answer."

"I told you you would" answered his mother but she couldn't see him. She was talking to herself. She was also talking to him but the him that she just watched confess his crime. He

had a doppelgänger, you see. She could see that but not the original version of her son. It was confusing after a while. She would ask him a question, but the double would answer.

And, so, after much confusion, she grabbed a mirror and shattered it, which broke the spell of the doppleganger, making the clone vanish.

Three years later, on Christmas Eve, the doppelganger returned dressed as an elf. Mr. Elf and his cousins offered to shovel the snow. She agreed, having a bad back. Then Santa came

for 15 minutes due to the super-fast gestation period of human/elf hybrids. Then POW the infant shot out like a projectile hurtling Mrs Santa with the equal and opposite reaction.
