While the violence towards children in this story is not great I don't think that it is particularly offensive. Sadism and masochism are strong words. Just my opinion but I think we should forget and move on... Also, AndrewB73, I don't think you should feel any responsibility just for starting it. Whether you want to start it again is up to you... I hope I haven't upset/offended anyone. I'm just trying to be helpful....
