With all of the sand dollars collected and the criminals drowned by the high tides, the land was reclaimed by animals, who sold the higher-priced shells to the generous shop clerk.

Now the shop clerk had all the finest sand dollars in (or on?) the land, but no customers except the animals, who decided to chuck the money into the ocean, knowing how it had made
