  • It was still dark but she knew she had to get home. Her feet pounded on the pavement. This jog felt longer than others. Perhaps it was because of the dog

    3
  • jaws clamped to her calf. At 3 pounds, the teacup chihuahua was more of a nuisance than a life threatening emergency, but he added to her wind resistance, and made her

    4
  • body beat against the fuselage of the aircraft like it stole something. The chihuahua began scaling her leg with a repetitive hump-hug-bite technique that would have been cute had

    2
  • The leg been real. But it was a prosthesis, and the it came off. The dog growled and pulled it down the road by the New Balance shoe attached to. She picked up her rife and

    1
  • sat there until the five legged dog turned the corner. She never liked those shoes anyways but the leg certainly was a loss.

    3
  • Looking more closely, it appeared that in actuality, the dog's fifth leg was actually its.. well, one of its fiddly bits. You know. Ahem. She kept walking, trying to put it out of

    2
  • sight so that she could eagerly supply relief to the happy animal. After all, it was much easier to speak to than her last five boyfriends, and cuter, too. After, she continued

    0
  • skipping down the yellow brick road. The relieved animal followed her, hoping for more relief. That soon started to annoy her. 'Listen, you gotta stop following me', she said stern

    2
  • ocleidomastoid muscle pulsing disconcertingly. The Lemmings were somewhat repulsed by Dorothy's tick, but refused to quit following her so she said 'Good Yellow Brick Road' and

    1
  • clicked her heels together. "There's no place like home" she repeated. The Lemmings looked at her. "Uhhh, yeah, good luck with that." they said. Dorothy looked around. "Crap."

I wanted to write "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" and saw the mistake after submitting. It's one of those *arghh* moments.

That's funny. My mind filled in the missing "bye" all by itself. Didn't even notice until you brought it up and I feel like those typos usually glare out at me. Maybe I miss more than I think.
