I heard enough monikers. I left and came back with my largest cast-iron frying pan. I raised it. “Here’s the ‘Beat your head with a frying pan ME!’” I brought the pan down hard.

It is interesting that the first line mentions a list, and by the end, there is a running list of names.

Re: monikers I wasn't sure, but isn't a moniker also a hand-held musical instrument with holes and reeds, which you blow into to play?
Jimbeau Jun 17 2021 @ 16:15
TarotGuy, I never heard of an instrument called a moniker; and I'm freaking old. However, since I have played guitar for 30+ years, I do remember a guitar company called Moniker. I just looked it up and discovered that Moniker Guitars are no longer in business. Other than that, I've always thought a moniker was a nickname someone used...like TarotGuy, or Woab, or Jimbeau. Tell me more about the reed instrument with holes! It sounds interesting.

Actually, Jimbeau, my question about a "moniker" being a musical instrument was my sorry attempt at a joke. I was actually referring to a "harmonica," which I'm certain is a musical instrument you know! In my warped mind, the words "moniker" and "harmonica" sound alike (kind of). I was fascinated to hear you talk about Moniker Guitars. I've never heard of them, so this was a bit of information I was happy to learn about, so thank you for sharing. My only experience I've had with guitar is that I played one for several years many, many moons ago. I'm also about 90 miles away from C.F. Martin & Company in Nazareth, PA. I went there once for a tour. Fascinating!

lol...touche, TarotGuy. You had me fooled...and, yes, I have heard of a harmonica. It truly is a small world. I was born and raised less than 7 miles from C. F. Martin & Company, but I never took the tour. They do make outstanding acoustic guitars, but I don't own one.. In fact, I still have relatives and friends who live in Nazareth, PA, but I haven't gone there for a visit in 8 years. Keep up the outstanding writing; I do enjoy reading your folds and adding to them.
