LordVacuity: According to no other authority but myself, I believe that the Venus de Milo has NO ARMPITS by virtue of the fact that she has NO ARMS. I further believe the wildebeest's erotic enjoyment of Venus resulted from his admiration of some body part(s) other than her missing armpits. A poem by the great Nipsey Russell is illustrative here: I saw a statue of Venus de Milo Sitting upon the shelf. Who would ever give a girl a figure like that And no arms to defend herself?

Venus de Milo actually has one armpit, but was this what the wildebeest was sniffing? And would you call it a sniffing gnu?
