Dear Princess Celestria, today I learned
- Dear Princess Celestria, today I learned that the most important lesson of all is
- never put a potato in the microwave without poking holes in it first. I am ever so sorry about the mess in the great hall, Princess, and for misspelling Celestia. I also learned
- there is no such thing as a free lunch. Which really sucks. It means I may have to get a job. And that involves people telling me what to do. I wish I was
- an ocean wave or a pumpkin. They don't need jobs. I looked on JobQumquat: "Person needed with experience handling pasta and large amounts of money." I wrote my CV on a napkin &
- wiped off some spaghetti sauce before artfully folding it into a manatee then stuffed it into an envelope & send it to the employers postbox address. A week later I received
- a reply."Chef Boyarmanatee thanks you for your creative recipe. Congratulations! You've won the $10,000 Grand Prize contest!" I couldn't believe it! I never won anything in my life
- - maybe my luck was finally changing. I didn't recall entering in this contest. Perhaps my dog Fido had done it. I know how much he likes canned beef and cheese ravioli.
- Regardless, I knew Fido and I could make the best canned beef and cheese ravioli. He was a top chef, and I could can with the best of 'em. 1st prize was a Get Out of Bath Free card
- which Fido seemed extra keen to win. Our secret ingredient in the ravioli was miniature snickers bars. Each parcel of the canned beef and cheese ravioli would include one bar. Judg
- e Dimitri had choked and died from allergy to the peanuts in our Snickers. The police arrived. Fido and myself got arrested. They tell us we'll get nothing but bad ravioli in jail.

A dog would rather win a Get Out of Bath Free card than 10 G's. What are G's to a dog?

In my defense, I started this FoldingStory long before I had actually watched an episode of MLP:FiM. :)

I was knee-deep in it for months before I watched any of it, as a sort of exercise for how far removed the fan base was by an indicator of how close I could get in with them without any comprehension of the source material. They never suspected even once.
