The man on the video monitor was definitely Travis. Same goofy red hair, coke bottle glasses, and clothes two sizes too big. But how was that possible? Travis was

supposed to be alive. Satan gave Death a call. "Look pal, we're backed up as it is. I don't need you shirking protocol and killing willy nilly." Death was bitter about not getting

any younger. He'd been in this thankless job for years. He thought there was room to move up, but upper management was locked up totally, not to mention cronyism. Death needed

a vacation, so he booked an around the world cruise. Death was trying to relax and forget the duties of his job, but when he took off his robe on the sun deck

he released the stench of a thousand undead souls, scaring away the other cruise passengers. "More quiet for me" he thought, claiming a lounge chair and the long island iced tea

. The ferryman plucked the little parasol in his boney hand and tossed it over the side of the cruise ship. This sure was a step up from ferrying people across Styx. This was the

good life. All those pennies he'd collected from the dead over the years had made a rather large nest egg and he was cashing in. Hades would just have to go along without Charon

. Charon decided instead ferrying those damned souls down Styx, he would set up a party cruise. Whatever happens on the boat, stays on the boat, and quickly forgotten.

What many didn't know, the Styx was an infernal spiral that curled through the levels of hell. Charon stood at the bow of the cruise ship A Happy Hell as the damned partied.

"Come sail away, come sail away, come and sail away with me..." the drunken hellions sang at the top of their burning lungs, while Dennis DeYoung laughed for all eternity.

Yes nice, but now that DeYoung ballad will always have this damned story associated with it!

It's not so bad. A little fact nobody knows is Charon sometimes moonlights as music celebrities and out of all his personas, his favorites are Dennis DeYoung and Lady Gaga. So Charon, to amuse himself on his lonely perch at the bow of a party cruise, sings rock tunes, the whole scene sometimes becoming an ensemble deserving of a Tony.

Haha! Thanks everyone!
