A Poem About My Mother - Humble,sweet,but

  • A Poem About My Mother - Humble,sweet,but often dreary/My mother is a soulless fairy/Beneath her lips,color of cherry/Three blackened teeth,a tongue so hairy/

    11
  • But even with tattoos galore/And perfume that reeks of dirty whore/My Mother loves me each day, more/With breasts complete down to the floor/

    10
  • My Mother loves me, yes she does/With Evil, Despair, and Hate, because/She was there with me before I was/A little tiny speck of Fuzz/

    10
  • She made me out of fear and sin/with shadow without and fire within/Mom filled me with dark euphoria/And set me deep in Moria/

    10
  • And now I haunt the souls of men / and walk up and down inside my den. / If only they knew of my true power / for if they did they would surely cower /

    11
  • Hiding themselves from my sight/ desperately avoiding my holy might/ offering livestock and firstborn/ to sway the fury of my scorn/

    11
  • But my wrath is a swirling fire! / None shall escape from my ire! / ...ooh but that goat IS a beauty… / with horns so fine and haunch so juicy

    10
  • That nobody dare to criticise/ The way the Raven flies/ And protects us from evil spirits/ Just as the silent majority won't hear it

    10
  • /but heart beating drums drive us to profess/ the love I've come to confesss/ it is no illusion or figment of imagination/ it is just a script for humanity's perpetuation.

    10
  • So let us now, with a kiss and a twerk / Get down to our most cellular work / Overpopulation is a bore / But what the heck, let's make one more.

I think we could all use a bit more "what the heck".

I left out a "here now" in the 2nd line of my fold and a "small" in my last. That would have kept better to the poem's measure.

Yes, amazing. I have't seen a 10-liker like this ever actually. Kudos to boy who gave it its truthful/gritty voice, and all the rest of you for continuing each in full measures. Hats off.

I'm very impressed that this made it all the way through. Usually a troll ruins it for everyone but this really survived down to the end. So awesome. Good job, folders!
