I couldn't concentrate at all after I noticed

  • I couldn't concentrate at all after I noticed her there in the waiting room casually flipping through a Playboy. My car had been ready for 45 minutes but I thought I'd stick around

    7
  • Why would she look at Playboy in this waiting room? She was on the cover! I converged. "Hi, I see you made the cover." "I see you made a cover too" she said pointing to a copy of

    7
  • "Gynocology Today." Brief silence. I made out like she was joking. "Heh-heh. Who would've thought a Playboy centerfold would have such a sense of humor?" & I punched her in the arm

    7
  • causing severe bruising. "How am I supposed to model with such a ghastly blemish?" the Playboy bunny asked. I would've suggested modeling shoulder pads, but I didn't want a bruise

    7
  • on my boob. Unlike, the Playboy Bunny my breasts were not padded with silicone and if i'd made the suggestion a sharp elbow to the boob would have been likely. Instead I just

    8
  • walked away. I had better things to do and as I looked down at my watch I could see that I was already late. If I hurried I could still make it to

    4
  • the bank on time. I hurried to catch the bus but I missed it by barely a minute. I walked, dejected and broke, along the streets, sad that I was so late and powerless to be early.

    5
  • This next part sounds crazy - but then a bird sitting on a nearby branch said my name, honest, although it could have been

    6
  • just vomiting. It sounds pretty close. It was a specimen of the Mucus Pucus bird which are known for their incapacity of digesting

    5
  • inconvenient truths. It'll caw in distress until Al Gore comes along to wring its neck, pluck it and eat its still warm body. It's just what he's like sometimes, Al Gore. An animal

Al Gore an animal = Real man go lanai. Little known fact.

I put coded messages in my folds sometimes.

49erFaithful, I don't know why but when I clicked on your fold to give you a point, one was subtracted! Only clicked once, so I am not sure what happened. Your story starter was definitely point-worthy! :)

lucielucie, figured as much. You're a clever one. A clever what, I have no idea (Rodney Dangerfield voice). ;-) PurpleProf, I think once you've clicked the like button, you can click it again to take it away. If you refresh the story, you should be able to like or unlike it as you see fit again. :-) Unfortunately, this is not a true story. Except the missing the bus part. That happened in '94. :-o

    Did it!

PurpleProf likes it. Purple Prof likes it not. PurpleProf likes it!

Happened upon this nice little vignette today. Does it really say "PurpleProf likes it not" when PP unlikes your fold 49er? ... and is Mucus Pucus a relation of Squawkers? so many questions...
