So the protagonist managed to cuckold most of the other characters in this story, except Mr. Z who is both judgemental and having an affair with Mrs. W, who's husband may have been involved in the disappearance of Mr. T. But could the author be Mr. Z?

To clarify even less, Z's first name was also Z. Hearing this a lot of people were already disposed to consider him quite boring. That was the genius of his nature in that his nothingness was really low key exciting. But as a narrator, his veracity was suspect.
