Actually Ken said "hadouken" as well. Back and forth, Ryu and Ken awaited the wildly gesticulating input of infuriating and arbitrary directional combos and wasted face buttons.

It was an epic battle of the calculated button pusher relying on timing & skill vs. the anarchistic button masher who just hit as many buttons as fast as possible. Ryu punched Ken

over and over and over again and it was beginning to look like anarchistic button mashing was going to win the day. But the calculated button pusher had a strategy to win. He

smashed down the SCRAM button at the Chernobyl power plant but nothing happened. It suddenly became everyone's worst nightmare as the fuel rods in chamber 4

quivered and melted. "Whoopsies!" Ivan Ivanich said, his fingers clenched over the SCRAM button. He stood up and announced to his Chernobyl colleagues. "We'd better exit now."

"Zat iz zo typikal ov you Ivan!" , Gregor the janitor yelled hoarsely. " Ze greatest nvklear reaktor in all Ukraine and you hav to push wrong button, you son of a potato farmer!"

Chernobyl's Direktor ran in. "All the reactors are in meltdown! We must hold an urgent Meeting of Self Criticism. Get the vodka, we've got a lot to discuss!"

Nobody was immune - not even, and despite all the propaganda, Direktor. Shamelessly, he gave in and helped himself to a triple vodka. "Bottoms up!" he yelled, with a terminal wink.
