Wait, how did you know about Coltraine? Is there something I don't know about connecting saxophones to hummingbirds that let you to know that the person above you mentioned Coltraine? I'm dumbfounded!

I was online about the same time you were and was reading the folds. I was thinking about LucieLucie's fold and asking myself if Coltrane had really done "My Favorite Things" and had to stop to look it up. Then when I came back, you had already posted your fold...so I just fnished it up! :) Wish I could say I that I have some kind of magical insight, but it's as simple as that. Loved your fold, by the way!

Wikipedia says: John William Coltrane, also known as "Trane"; (September 23, 1926 – July 17, 1967[1]) was an American jazz saxophonist and composer. I think he is one of the most famous Jazz saxophonists. Maybe for that reason. Really enjoyed the images on this one.

Agree, SlimWhitman...and it was your fold that opened the door for the hummingbirds to fly into this story!

I was thinking about a certain kind of nectar decanter I saw at a humming bird feeding station in the Rockies. The shape reminded me of saxophones... Colorful notes flitting out of the bell.
